After all, as long as it is installed properly, it is essentially a new turbo whose housings have simply been used before (and unless there's catastrophic failure, housings don't go bad). But if the CHRA were installed by a shop and not be the manufacturer, I would simply want to know so that I could get the work inspected to make sure it was done right. That would be the only reason I'd want to know if they were used before, so that I could check the work that was done to them.
